It’s Good to be Back!

I missed writing my blog, but I have had an attack of vertigo. The first couple of days was the worst. Every little move I made seem to cause the room to spin, and I stayed queasy, even emptying my stomach several times.

Today is the first time I have felt halfway human in a while. There is so much to catch up on, and writing this blog is one of those things.

I don’t know what could have triggered the attack, but it reminded me of how important it is to take care of ourselves. It was especially tough for me because I am not a person who gets sick, and I was not a good patient.

My friends, children, and grandchildren stayed on my case about sitting down and resting. I don’t know how long I will feel this good. I did want to let you know what was going on. I am so grateful to the Lord for being with me.

I have completed my thirty days of blogging, which means I post at least once a week, and when I can, I will post more often.

Now to let you know some of the things I have coming up. I will once again start up my podcast show. I had recorded three shows when vertigo caught me off guard, and I now have to start up again.

For those of you who want to know what happened to the Black Authors Group, it returns on the third Sunday, May 17, 3 – 4 p.m., as a virtual group. You can register for free at https://tinyurl.com/y7pebslm.

The public Speakers Association will now have virtual meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. The next meeting scheduled is May 26th,  registration is free at https://tinyurl.com/ycbdjsa3

There is more news to share, but that’s it for now. It feels good to be writing again. Until next time, please stay safe and be careful about your health.
