Today has been crazy busy! It was exciting too!
I spoke at the Public Speakers Association along with five other speakers. Each shared some great information and suggestions that anyone could quickly implement. I shared “Five Reasons Self Discovery Through Journaling is the Key to a Fulfilled Life.” Everything went better than okay.
Next month, I will host the Public Speakers Association Virtual Summit on April 8th. How cool is that? That means I get a little extra speaking time.
I look forward to each of you to the event. It is entirely free.
Okay! Enough about me.
If you have realized it by now, I am excited about journaling. I found an article detailing an easy way to get started journaling.
Find a quiet place, sit quietly, and listen to your intuition.
Begin to free-write to these prompts:
- What is working? And what makes it work?
- Where am I powerful?
- What am I most proud of at this moment?
- What is my vision for the end of the year?
- What do I want that I do not have now?
- What am I committed to doing?
- What information do I need? What do I need to know?
- What daily action would I take if I were unstoppable?
Now ask yourself, “What else?” to each question.
By not judging what comes up, you have a powerful tool working for you.
Let your answers flow without judgment or analysis.
Follow these steps, and you will have clarity about what you want.
I read an article by Kendall Summerhawk a few years back, and these are suggestions she made about starting on your journey to journaling. I felt this a way to help you if you are having trouble getting started journaling.
Best of luck on your journey, and please let me know if this works for you. You can comment here or email me at lawanna@lawannaspeaks.com. I would like to hear if this works for you or you have some suggestions that we could use. I would be happy to let you share here. Until next time, stay safe, and keep the faith.
