As of 7:04 am this morning, I am officially 74 years young! How exciting is that? I was born on a Good Friday, and today is Easter Day. Yeah!!!
I have lived an exciting life, and guess what? The best is yet to come. In case you are not aware, I consider the month of April my month that I share with other exciting April Aires. That includes my son, grandson, my uncle, and nephew. My mom was also an aires but on the March side.
Here is the thing, expect the unexpected from me during this month. I learned one major thing from COVID, whatever your dreams, take action toward them now. You are not promised tomorrow.
On a higher note. Thank you, my Heavenly Father, for giving me this time, and thank you, Jesus, for the sacrifice you made for all of us!
I am also saying a special thank you to all of you, especially those who never gave up on me. Thank you for caring and being a good friend. Thank you to all of you for supporting me and this blog.
Alright. I promised to share some of my day with you. For me, my day started last with the Ten Commandments. I watch it every year for Easter or any time it is showing. I believe you know by now, but if you do not, I am a Christian. Christmas and Easter are important to me.
I woke early for virtual service. Then I cooked ham, chocolate cake, broccoli, cauliflower with carrots, and biscuits. For dessert, I had chocolate ice cream, and later champaign to celebrate my birthday.
I received two bouquets of flowers, several birthday cards, but the one that meant the most to me is the one my grandson gave me. I also received so many Facebook happy birthdays; I did not have time to respond to them all. It has been a blessed day for me.
Now, one final thing, no two last things. I had my first cup of coffee this morning since Christmas. It was delicious! And please do not forget to come support me as the host of the Public Speakers Association Virtual Summit on April 8th at 9:00 am PDT. I will also be one of the speakers.
It is a free live event on FaceBook live. You can find it on the Public Speakers Association Facebook page. Until next time, please stay safe, and keep the faith.
