How to Journal Your Way to Improved Mental Health pt. 2

Boosts Your Mood

Another benefit of journaling is that it can significantly boost your mood and enhance your overall

well-being. Putting all of your thoughts on paper or typing them out on a computer can relieve stress and help you feel much better. Developing a journaling habit is an excellent way to reduce depression and provide a positive outlet for expressing your emotions.

Yesterday, I accepted a challenge to write down any rewards receive for the next thirty days. A few hours later, my son’s girlfriend offered to cook dinner, and of course, I accepted. She later washed dishes and moped for me. I greatly appreciated what she did, and it was completely unexpected. I accept this as my reward from my Heavenly Father.

Today, my grandson bought me lunch—another unexpected but pleasantly surprising gift. I am thanking my Father for these gifts. I also thanked my son’s girlfriend and my grandson. I am sharing this with you. I would like you to think about unforeseen gifts you may have received.

Hey! Share in the comments a gift you received unexpectedly.

Until next time, please stay safe, and keep the faith.
