One of the most overlooked ways to boost your mental well-being is to focus on writing in a journal for a few minutes each day. Developing a journaling routine that works best for your situation is an effective way to combat everyday stress and help you significantly improve your overall well-being.

I have found that when I feel weighed down by obstacles in my life, I journal. For me, it is talking to God, and He is listening, then He provides me with answers. Sometimes the answers come while I am writing, and sometimes it may be hours or days later before I get any response, but it works for me. It helps me be closer to Him.
