I cooked last night, and it was a good thing I did. Because the following
day, I blew the fuses in my home. The light in the bathroom and kitchen
reminded on, and one wall socket in the front room.
I am thankful it was the one I had my television plugged into. I tried resetting
the fuse, but it didn’t work. I will call the park maintenance man tomorrow and
have him reset the fuse. I have never been able to take care of things like
that.
No, my sons were not available. One lives in Nevada, one is stationed
overseas, and the other got himself in trouble. I would not bother them on a
holiday unless it were a matter of life or death.
So, I still had a good Thanksgiving dinner, a Perry Mason marathon, and
several Christmas movies.
Despite my situation, I am thankful there is light in the bathroom kitchen, I
can watch television, and I have plenty of books, so I read a couple of
stories.
The trouble reminds me to take some time to rest and enjoy the holiday, which
I did. Tomorrow will be better, but I will take it off as well. Until tomorrow
stay safe, enjoy your family and keep the faith.
