I went out today. Some movement caught my eye as I sat at the red light, waiting for it to change.
I looked to the right, and a young man tossed three balls in the air from one hand. He kept that going, and then he suddenly fell. At least, I thought he fell until I saw him roll his body back into a standing position and continue tossing the balls.
The man was very agile and quick on his feet. He started moving something with his feet, keeping it from hitting the ground while he continued tossing the balls in the air.
It was beautiful to see him toss those balls one at a time, catch each one separately, throw it back up to catch the next one with one hand as he waved with the other hand and offer this massive smile to the people in the cars watching him.
The man appeared to enjoy himself, especially when some offered him money. He continued tossing the balls when he ran to the cars to collect the money offered.
He earned his money, and people were happy to give him a few dollars. I certainly enjoyed his show, and had I not been so far from him, I would have given him money. He put on a good show. I almost hated the signal changing.
The juggler made my day. I pray it was a successful day for his finances. He was that good. I will keep my eyes peeled for other forms of free entertainment. Until tomorrow, stay safe, and keep the faith.
