Today is a special day, as it marks not only my birth but also the birth of Maya Angelou, one of the most influential writers of our time. However, it is also a day of reflection, as it is the anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Though his life was cut short, his legacy lives on through the continued fight for equality and justice.

As I celebrate my birth, let us also take a moment to remember and honor the incredible contributions of Maya Angelou and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and continue to strive towards a better world for all.
