Why I Blog

I am often asked why I blog.

First and foremost, blogging allows me to share my thoughts with the world without getting dressed. Let’s face it, now that I am older. I don’t always feel like getting dressed. Why bother when I can sit comfortably in my pajamas and write my heart out? It’s like being able to work from home but with even fewer clothing restrictions!

Secondly, blogging lets me be my boss. I get to decide what to write, when, and how to write it. No more asking for permission from an editor or trying to fit into someone else’s agenda. I get to call the shots and run the show. It’s like having my reality show without the cameras following me around (unless you’re into that kind of thing).

Lastly, blogging can be a great way to make new friends. No, really! A whole community of bloggers is out there, and they’re just waiting to be discovered. You can connect with people who share your interests, bond over your love of puns, and even collaborate on projects. Who knows, you might even meet your future spouse through blogging (although that might be a bit of a stretch).

In conclusion, blogging is a wonderful way to express ourselves, unleash our creativity, and connect with others. It lets us be comfortable in our skin (or lack thereof) and call the shots. Plus, who doesn’t love the idea of making new friends without having to leave the house? So, let’s keep on blogging and keep on being awesome!

Until next time, stay safe, and keep the faith.
