You probably do not constantly think about how your mindset affects your life. You have always felt this way, either due to how you were raised or through other circumstances. Your attitude does affect your life. By changing how you think, you can improve your life.

Abundance mindset, scarcity mindset, fear mindset, fixed mindset, growth mindset, confident mindset, and many others are all different types of mindsets. Each unconscious and conscious belief affects our lives every moment.

According to the research of Stanford psychologist Carol Dweck, the power of our beliefs, both conscious and unconscious, and how changing even the simplest of them can have a profound impact on nearly every aspect of our lives.

When you change your mindset, you become more creative, artistic, intelligent, more successful, more athletic, and more fulfilled.

You are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Changing your mindset to growth allows you to see the many different paths available to you in whatever you are seeking-job advancement, creative outlets, or something more personal. The change to a growth mindset has you accepting constructive criticism for what it is and using it to grow. The growth mindset helps you be more confident because you will not need validation to reassure you that you are doing it right.

You can change your mindset, and it will improve your life. Your skills can be cultivated, learned, practiced, and grown.  You no longer worry about what will happen. Instead, you will commit to the process of doing, finishing, and learning along the way.

Changing your mindset helps you become a better person, improves your skills, and helps you build relationships. You will step out of your comfort zone to go after what you want and believe you will get it. You are in control of what you think.

Setting goals to work towards sounds like a pretty straightforward task. However, as you may already know, following them and achieving them can prove to be surprisingly tricky.

If you are looking to stick to the goals you set, it all comes down to how you approach them. You can make a lot of mistakes with goal setting that can sabotage your chance of success. So, to help ensure you avoid these mistakes, below, you will discover five ways to approach setting goals and achieving them.

During the pandemic, I have learned that I have to write my goal/dream down on paper, and two, I have to get clear about what I want to do.

In the past, when I decided on a goal, I would write it down with a list of other things I wanted to do. Sometimes I was able to do them all, but often I failed. And boy, could I come up with excuses for my failures. What I should have done, look at what I had accomplished and what I failed, and made the necessary changes for future improvements.

I recognize so many mistakes I made, but I am happy to say that I have changed. I still make errors and miscalculations, but I check how I can do it differently. I choose not to give up because it did not work.

I will admit that I do several things, and sometimes it may seem like I am giving up, but the truth is I have a variety of things I am interested in and like to do. At my age, I can not wait to complete one thing then move to the next one.

Therefore, I do more than one at a time. I can do that now because my children are all adults with children of their own.

I do not know where you are in your life, but I urge you to set clear goals and take the necessary action to achieve them. I want to get more in-depth on this subject. However, I am going to save it for tomorrow. I promised to have this post up within two hours, and I need more time to speak on this subject.
